The summer reading series at The Writing Salon features monthly readings with our esteemed teachers and some of our most promising and dedicated students. The events are free to the public. Snacks and beverages are provided.
We’re kicking off the summer reading series with a sure-to-be-knockout reading with long-time Writing Salon teacher, Andy Touhy. Have a look at his riveting short fiction pieces over at Eleven Eleven! We’ll also shine a light on one of our newest instructors on the block, David Hill, who so eloquently said, “Our bodies tell stories . . . wordless stories. I’m interested in this paradox of using language to explore these wordless stories.” Andy and David’s talented students, Samantha Jacobs and Tanya Breshears, will be reading with them. Come join us for what will be an exciting start to our summer reading series!
