At The Writing Salon, we believe that Bay Area creative writing schools and literary organizations thrive as a collective through the cross-pollination of ideas and inspiration. That's why we started up the Friends of the Salon Reading Series. Come create community with us as we explore and celebrate our relationships to this larger, thriving Bay Area lit scene.
On May 19, we will welcome Blue Light Press to our San Francisco location. Kerry Tepperman Campbell, winner of the 2017 Blue Light Book Award, will read from her new collection of poems, Dreaming of France. Diane Frank, chief editor of Blue Light Press, will read from her new book as well, Canon for Bears and Ponderosa Pines, recently released by Glass Lyre Press. Both poets will be selling and signing their books.
